This is a great album! A prog masterpiece. Imagine if you took 70's era Robert Fripp and Geddy Lee, and had them record an instrumental project today, only playing the edgy, heavy music you like, and this would be similar.

I really go for tightly arranged big band music with odd chords - and on this album, there are plenty of it! However, I fail to hear the "metal" ingredients everyone is talking about here... did I miss something? Well, maybe it's the metal that's used to build brass instruments - so yeah, I really love this kind of metal sound! And the wood sound, too.
