ROWIAL My 14th ONJ album. Waited ≥25 yrs too long to finally know and praise it. This one is less "avant" than esp. ’Rituels’. Like some other ONJ albums it's a little related to Jaco's bigbandry i.m.o. - with dendrites to Vienna Art Orchestra? Dynamic & groovy. Ok, no real Jaco-bass, but Bob Harrison is doing fine. And we have Elise Caron's voic- & flut-ings besides all the other impressive players - incl. violin & cello - in these sparkling &/or reflective compositions. That's ONJ. Great! What else.
